Nothing to dislike.

the cottage is charming and traditional, but has been modernised to include all the necessary facilities. the slate floors were a great feature, especially since I was traveling with my dog. the shower was excellent and had a powerful water flow. I really appreciated the secure rear garden and the off-road parking. the location of the cottage was perfect, with breathtaking views and a footpath just across the drive that led to the mountains and beyond. the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Cons: All was good! 😊.

This place is an absolute gem! The cottage is like a dream come true - so cozy and beautifully decorated. The beds are like sleeping on clouds, and the views are absolutely mind-blowing! Having off-street parking and a footpath right across the drive was super convenient for exploring the stunning mountains. The modernized facilities, like the powerful shower and slate floors , added a touch of luxury. We were blown away by how clean and well-kept everything was, and the fireplace was truly amazing. The charming village and its proximity to various attractions were added bonuses. Communication with the owner was easy, and access to the property was a breeze. We can't wait to visit again and consider ourselves lucky to have found this jaw-dropping cottage! Wi-fi and free parking were available, and pets were allowed - a win-win! No smoking on site.

We recently stayed at Ty Mawr in Blaenau Ffestiniog for a weekend getaway. This charming and traditional cottage had been beautifully modernized, offering a range of fantastic facilities. The slate floors were perfect for our dog, and the shower was excellent with great water pressure. We also loved the secure rear garden and off-road parking, providing us with peace of mind during our stay. The cottage was exceptionally clean, well-decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The village itself was lovely, and there were plenty of places to explore just a short drive away. Communication with the owner was easy, and access to the property was convenient. We would definitely choose to stay at Ty Mawr again when visiting the area.

Wow, what an amazing find! This charming cottage was everything we could've asked for and more. The interior was beautifully decorated and had all the modern facilities we needed. Plus, the slate floors were perfect for our furry friend. The shower was powerful and refreshing, and the secure rear garden was a great bonus. We also appreciated having off-road parking and being just a stone's throw away from a footpath leading to the breathtaking mountains nearby. it was a perfect idyllic getaway.

The one downside we found was the location of the bathroom, which was downstairs while the bedroom was upstairs. It was a bit inconvenient, especially during the night when nature called.
